Replaced Teeth In Wheel
If you need to replace teeth in an old wheel, we can help. Generally, we can remove old teeth, make new ones, and insert them into your wheel in about one week. We can make any tooth profiles you require; we have hardened blanks ready to machine to your specifications. We will use our vision inspection system to measure up your old teeth to make exact duplicates.
In the rare event a tooth breaks in a solid wheel, we can fix it. In this process, we can cut a slot where the broken tooth is and make a tooth to press into the slot, bringing your solid wheel back to life again. We only recommend this when the wheel is in good condition, but was abused and one or two teeth are broken. We have also done repairs where a hub had a crack into it.
